He works in computer vision at the University of Central Florida, where he founded and directs the Center for Research in Computer Vision. His research spans video surveillance and tracking, human pose and action recognition, neural network applications, image and video retrieval, and automatic target detection. He has also run a long-standing REU site in computer vision at UCF.
