The Crossley Lab at the world-leading CRUK Cambridge Institute is recruiting an enthusiastic and collaborative Postdoctoral Researcher to help uncover the mechanisms by which RNA-DNA hybrids contribute to human disease and how these pathways can be exploited for cancer diagnosis and treatment. This is an exciting opportunity to join the group at a formative stage, supported by long-term funding from Cancer Research UK and the Wellcome Trust, and to shape a research programme aligned with your expertise and interests. Research Opportunities Projects within the lab span: Genome biology of pathological R-loops and their impact on genome stability in cancer and neurodegeneration. Cytoplasmic RNA-DNA hybrids and their role in innate immune signalling. Extracellular RNA-DNA hybrid release and communication between cells.
