Worldsheet String Theory and String Field Theory

The aim of this two-week program is to bring together researchers working on worldsheet string theory, string field theory, holography, quantum gravity, conformal field theory, amplitudes, and related mathematical structures. The first week will be a school, with pedagogical lectures introducing key techniques and recent developments. The second week will be a conference with research talks. Topics will include tensionless strings, twistor and pure-spinor approaches, Liouville theory and minimal strings, higher-genus string amplitudes, D-instanton physics, string field theory in nontrivial backgrounds, conformal perturbation theory, homotopy algebras, hyperbolic string vertices, and connecti
