Mechanical Quantum Sensors for New Physics Searches

We are excited to announce a one-week topical workshop on ` Mechanical Quantum Sensors for New Physics Searches ’ that will be held at the Mainz Institute for Theoretical Physics ( MITP ) from January 18th-22nd 2027. The workshop aims to bring together experimentalists working on mechanical sensors with theorists interested in new detection methods for dark matter and gravitational waves to share recent developments, foster interdisciplinary collaboration and generate new ideas to fully exploit the potential of mechanical quantum sensors for fundamental physics.
