Linux Foundation Mentorship (LFX)

Funding: Funded: verify amount on website. Who can apply: 18+ at term start, eligible to work in jurisdiction, no prior LF-hosted mentorship completed. Stipend $1,000-$6,600 (PPP-adjusted). Explicitly open to both students AND professionals/career-changers. Length: 12 weeks. Paid mentee stipends for hands-on contributions to open-source projects across CNCF, LF Networking, LF Decentralized Trust, RISC-V, and other Linux Foundation-hosted programs including cloud-native, data-infrastructure, and developer-tooling. Time commitment: Quarterly terms, ~12 weeks each; part-time/project-based. Field: Data Analysis. Deadline: Estimated ~mid-August 2026.
