Funding: Funded: verify amount on website. Who can apply: Open globally to individuals/teams/orgs, EU or not. Minimum total project cost must exceed EUR 50,000 (awards up to ~EUR 1M) - high bar for a solo small project. Code/docs must be OSI/FSF-approved license. Non-equity, non-recourse grant. Length: 1 year. Direct grants to individual maintainers, teams, and companies for developing/maintaining open-source 'digital base technologies' (libraries, package managers, protocols, developer tools). Time commitment: Project-based (several months to ~1 year); not tied to full-time employment. Field: Data Analysis. Deadline: Rolling.
