Dissertation Completion Fellowship (Sloan Foundation-supported)

Funding: $15,000, plus optional support for travel to collections. Who can apply: PhD candidates in advanced dissertation stages enrolled at a US institution; any nationality; dissertation must concern the history of the natural or social sciences in the 20th or 21st century. Length: Nine-month. Optional in-residence access to the Consortium's facility in Center City Philadelphia; connection to 20+ member institutions in the history of science, technology, and medicine. Field: Dissertation Completion. Deadline: Oct 1, 2026 and Apr 1, 2027 (two deadlines per year).
