SREB-State Doctoral Scholars Program - Dissertation Award

Funding: $20,000 one-year stipend. Who can apply: Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident; accepted into or enrolled in a full-time, campus-based Ph.D. program at a participating institution in a participating SREB state; must have completed coursework and comprehensive/preliminary exams and defended (or be about to defend) the dissertation prospectus; must intend to pursue a full-time college/university faculty career. Length: One-year. University-covered tuition and fees, a $500 research allowance, professional development support, and funded attendance at SREB's annual Institute on Teaching and Mentoring conference. Field: Dissertation Completion.
