Funding: $30,000 annual stipend plus full tuition, fringe benefits, and a small research fund. Who can apply: Current University of Michigan doctoral students (entering 2nd or 3rd year) across social science disciplines interested in causal-inference approaches to education policy; U-M enrollment required, not an open national competition. Length: Three- or four-year fellowships. Interdisciplinary core curriculum (quantitative methodology, causal inference, education policy coursework), research apprenticeships with faculty mentors, a year-long policy/practice apprenticeship, an interdisciplinary research colloquium.
