Funding: $5,000/month stipend, plus a one-time travel stipend for roundtrip economy transportation to Washington, DC. Who can apply: Scholars at all career levels starting with PhD candidates who have reached ABD status; early-career researchers, faculty between positions, and unaffiliated scholars also considered; topic must relate to the Holocaust. Length: 2, 4, or 8 consecutive months of residency (minimum 2 months, no exceptions). Residency at the Mandel Center in Washington, DC; access to ~120 million archival pages, library materials in 60+ languages, oral histories, films, photographs, and 200+ million ITS Digital Archive images. Field: Dissertation Completion.
