Office of Science Graduate Student Research (SCGSR) Program

Funding: Stipend up to $3,000/month for living expenses, plus travel funds and a supplement toward research supplies; exact amount depends on duration, location, and concurrent funding. Who can apply: US citizens or lawful permanent residents, graduate students in good standing pursuing a PhD in a priority DOE Office of Science research area, at a stage where a period at a DOE national lab would be beneficial. Length: 3 to 12 consecutive months at a DOE national laboratory. Access to DOE national laboratory facilities and instrumentation; direct collaboration with a DOE national laboratory scientist; application-assistance workshops offered. Field: STEM and Engineering.
