Funding: $5,000 stipend (paid half at start, half upon completion). Who can apply: US citizens or those with authorized work status (F-1 visa, permanent residency, etc.); must be an enrolled graduate student or an undergraduate senior in a 4+1 program; focus areas include trade, industrial security, or climate/ecological/economic security; preferably with limited prior DC professional experience. Length: 8 to 10 weeks (summer, late May through early August). Fully funded round-trip transportation to DC, arranged/covered housing for the program duration, weekly career seminars, mentoring, and networking with government/nonprofit professionals; a capstone research project presentation.
