Hertz Foundation Fellowship

Funding: Up to $250,000 in funding over up to 5 years (annual stipend plus cost-of-education allowance). Who can apply: College seniors, first-year graduate students, or individuals in a gap year intending to pursue a PhD in applied physical/biological sciences, mathematics, or engineering; must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Length: Up to 5 years of funding. Full intellectual freedom to pursue research of choice, mentorship, and a lifelong Hertz Fellows community. Field: STEM and Engineering. Deadline: October 31, 2025 for the 2026 cycle (annual, typically late October).
