Board Fellows Program (BFP)

Funding: Unpaid fellowship, no stipend; no academic credit is awarded and no cost to participate. Who can apply: Must be enrolled in a Master's program through SDSU's Fowler College of Business (MBA) or School of Social Work (MSW), with core coursework completed or in progress, and in good academic standing. Length: 9 months (two semesters). Placement as a non-voting board member at a local San Diego nonprofit; mentorship from experienced board members; networking with community leaders; practical governance experience. Field: Nonprofit Governance. Deadline: Prior cycle deadline was March 12, 2024 for AY2024-2025; verify current-year deadline on site.
