Open Lunar Research Fellowship

Funding: $35 USD per hour. Who can apply: Early-to-mid-career professionals; bachelor's degree helpful but not mandatory; open to applicants from a wide range of backgrounds, including those outside the traditional space sector; strong writing/communication and synthesis skills required. Length: 5-8 months, starting in January. Mentorship and access to an expert network in lunar policy/technology; leadership experience on original lunar governance research; publication opportunities for fellowship output. Field: Space Policy. Deadline: Annual, recurring; 2026 cohort deadline was October 10, 2025. Next cycle expected to open fall 2026 for a January 2027 start.
