Funding: Up to $8,500 covering stipend, tuition, and/or mandatory fees (monthly stipend caps: ~$1,700/month master's level, ~$2,000/month doctoral level); additional funds may cover travel to the TRB Annual Meeting. Who can apply: US citizens or nationals enrolled full-time (or admitted) in a graduate degree program (master's or PhD) in a transportation-related discipline at an accredited US institution, with at least one full academic year remaining and ongoing transportation research. Length: Typically 1 academic year (renewable). Funded travel to present at the Transportation Research Board (TRB) Annual Meeting; connection to a national network of transportation researchers and DOT program coordinators.
