Fellowship Training Grant

Funding: Up to approximately $125,000-$145,000 total over up to 24 months in salary support (varies by cycle/species program). Who can apply: Applicants must hold a veterinary degree (e.g., DVM) or a PhD, or be enrolled in a PhD program having completed at least the first two years by the project start date; PhD holders must have earned the PhD within 4 years of application; those with a PhD held more than 4 years or in permanent salaried positions are not eligible; fellow dedicates at least 75% time to the funded research project. Length: Up to 24 months. Mentored research training under an established investigator; special supplemental funding available to support trainees from historically underserved groups in veterinary research.
