International Association of Black Actuaries Scholarship Program (IABA)

Funding: Merit-based awards of up to $5,000 annually. Who can apply: Black/African-descent undergraduate and graduate students (from the US, Canada, the Caribbean, or African nations) pursuing actuarial careers. Length: One academic year. Stipend to cover cost of attending the IABA Annual Meeting; exam/study resource fee reimbursement and peer support; many recipients receive internship or entry-level job offers.
