Funding: $5,000 stipend. Who can apply: Preference given to researchers early in their career, including Ph.D. students; more senior faculty are not excluded. Requires a current CV, at least one letter of recommendation, and a 3-5 page research proposal on an insurance regulation topic. Length: One year. Access to relevant NAIC data and materials (subject to approval), funding for up to 3 trips to NAIC offices, direct engagement with NAIC regulatory staff, and a platform to present final research to regulators and academics.
