Funding: Up to $15,000 toward graduate tuition, plus a $5,000 summer internship stipend and up to $2,000 for conference attendance. Who can apply: Culturally diverse candidates who are final-year undergraduates planning to enroll in, or are currently enrolled in, a graduate program in historic preservation or a closely allied field (history, architecture, American studies, urban planning, museum studies with preservation focus) at a U.S. institution; must be authorized to work in the U.S. Length: Tuition support spans the recipient's graduate program; internship is one summer. Paid summer internship with the National Trust (Washington, DC office or a field office/historic site) after the first year of graduate study, plus mentorship and support to attend the National Preservation Conference. Field: Historic Preservation. Deadline: February 28, 2026 (annual; expected to recur each year).
