Who can apply: Outstanding PhD students in North American economics or finance PhD programs whose dissertation research focuses on consumer financial behavior, especially decisions of low- and moderate-income households. Length: Up to two years of research support. Reduces need to take on teaching/research assistantships, access to a national network of consumer-finance scholars, mentorship and exposure to policy discussions.
