Reclaim and Sustain Language Fellowship

Funding: $20/hour, part-time 10 hrs/week for 10 weeks (paid fellowship, not a stipend-only award). Who can apply: Open to teachers, speakers, linguists, or those conducting archival research in an Algonquian Tribal Nation language community (enrolled with, employed by, or collaborating with permission); college/university enrollment NOT required, so open to early-career professionals and grad-level researchers alike (not undergrad-only). Remote work in US time zones; open to US applicants. Length: 10 weeks, June–August 2026 (optional early/mid-May archive travel). Fully funded travel stipend for archive visits; organization assists fellows in attaining college credit where applicable. Field: Indigenous language revitalization/reclamation (2026 cohort focused on Algonquian languages).
