Anthropic Fellows Program (AI Safety track)

Funding: $3,850/week stipend (or GBP/CAD equivalent) plus ~$15,000/month compute funding. Who can apply: No PhD, prior ML experience, or publications required; open to people from diverse quantitative backgrounds (physics, math, CS, cybersecurity, etc.) who can code well in Python. Selection is skills-based, not restricted to undergraduates, and includes early-career professionals. Length: 4 months. Close mentorship from Anthropic safety researchers; potential pathway to further Anthropic roles. Field: AI safety and alignment research, conducted in close mentorship with Anthropic researchers. Deadline: Rolling applications for cohorts starting July 2026 and beyond, including a cohort beginning late September 2026, exact cutoff dates not published; apply early as review is ongoing.
