Funding: $5,000 stipend. Who can apply: PhD, master's, and law students working toward a degree/concentration in international relations, political science, public administration, public interest law, data science, or a related field, restricted to students enrolled at a university in one of 13 Midwestern states (IL, IN, IA, KS, MI, MN, MO, NE, ND, OH, OK, SD, WI). No application fee. Length: 6-10 weeks, in residence in Washington, DC. Mentorship from IFES staff; fellow completes and presents a research paper on a technical election-administration topic.
