Research Fellows Program

Funding: $24,000 annual stipend (residential fellows) plus travel/research allocation. Who can apply: Master's or PhD (or doctoral candidates conducting dissertation research); scholars, emerging, and mid-career professionals in art history, architecture, decorative arts, museum education, public horticulture, or preservation policy. Open to US applicants. Length: Residential and non-residential; short-term and long-term options. Free housing for residential fellows, travel/research allowance, publication and public lecture opportunities. Field: Historic preservation / decorative arts / material culture / landscape design / public history at the Newport Mansions.
