State Fellowship

Funding: $60,000 stipend for 12 months plus up to $5,000 for travel and training. Who can apply: Graduate students near degree completion or within 2 years of earning a graduate degree; Alaska residents/institutions preferred. Length: 12 months (begins Aug/Sept). Hands-on marine/coastal policy and management training; placement with Alaska agencies or nonprofits. Field: Marine / coastal / watershed policy. Deadline: February (annual).
