Funding: Year 1: $25,000 stipend + tuition (up to 14 credits/semester) + subsidized health insurance; Years 2-4: $8,000/year supplementing a 50% departmental assistantship. Who can apply: Incoming PhD students in science or engineering fields aligned with 3M's priority research areas at the University of Minnesota, regardless of citizenship (preference to US citizens/permanent residents).
