Neuroscience Scholars Program (NSP)

Funding: Non-stipend fellowship: mentoring, professional development, and travel awards (up to 15 Fellows/year); funded via a $1.35M NINDS grant. Who can apply: Graduate students (or postdoctoral fellows) enrolled in a degree-granting program in neuroscience or related biomedical/behavioral/clinical/social sciences, from groups underrepresented in these fields (Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino, American Indian/Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander, or individuals with disabilities). Length: 2-year training program. Live events/webinars, online diversity affinity group, career-advancement mentoring; won the 2018 Presidential Award for Excellence in Science Mentoring.
