Equal Justice America Summer Fellowship

Funding: Up to $5,000 (max $15,000 total with other funding). Who can apply: Current law students (any year) at a qualifying U.S. law school who secure a full-time (35 hrs/wk), minimum 8-week unpaid/underpaid summer placement at a civil legal services organization (not public defender or government offices). Length: 8+ week summer placement. Grant can be combined with other funding sources up to $15,000 total. Field: Public Policy and Government. Deadline: March 23, 2026 (annual, typically recurs each spring).
