Funding: Consultant fees plus round-trip economy airfare to Washington, DC or a WBG country office (amount varies by placement). Who can apply: Sub-Saharan Africa nationals under 32, enrolled in the final year of a PhD program OR who completed a PhD within the last 3 years. Strong quantitative/analytical skills required; women strongly encouraged. Length: 6 months. Field: Global Development and Multilateral Institutions. Deadline: Annual (next application window expected to open mid-2026 for the January-June 2027 placement).
