Fellowship Sponsorship Program

Funding: NHLP does not fund directly, it sponsors applicants to external post-grad fellowship funders (Equal Justice Works, Skadden Fellowship Foundation, school-funded fellowships, Soros Justice Fellowships); amount depends on funder. Who can apply: Graduating law students and newly emerging public-interest attorneys committed to housing law. Length: Typically one to two years (per funder terms). Access to NHLP's federal housing law expertise; project areas have included VAWA housing protections, immigrant-housing intersections, and tenant rights. Field: Housing law and policy.
