SC Teachers Loan Program

Funding: Up to $7,500/year for graduate students; $27,500 aggregate cap. Who can apply: SC residents, U.S. citizens/permanent residents, enrolled at least half-time in a teacher education program, including graduate students (min 2.75 GPA entering, 3.5 GPA for continuing). Length: Renewable annually; forgiveness over years of teaching service. Forgiven 20%-33.3% per year of teaching in critical subject/geographic areas.
