Minority Teacher Loan Program

Funding: Up to $10,000/year, $30,000 maximum total. Who can apply: Wisconsin students (including graduate/post-bacc pathway students) from underrepresented groups pursuing teacher certification; commit to teach in a WI district with 40%+ minority enrollment. Length: Renewable annually, up to $30,000 lifetime cap. 25% loan forgiveness per qualifying year of service. Field: Teacher preparation, minority-teacher pipeline (special education eligible).
