Who can apply: U.S. citizens/permanent residents admitted as incoming 1L, full-time students at an ABA-approved law school; no minimum GPA or LSAT; must commit to civil rights law practice in the South. Length: 3-year JD + 2-year postgraduate fellowship; 10-year service commitment in the South. Summer internships with national/regional civil rights orgs; 2-year postgraduate fellowship at a Southern civil rights organization; mentorship and special LDF/National Academies trainings.
