Catalyst Public Service Fellowship Program

Funding: $5,000 stipend per fellow ($2,500 from Catalyst, $2,500 matched by law school). Who can apply: Currently enrolled day/evening law students in good standing at a participating New York law school; preference to 1Ls with financial need. Length: Minimum 10 weeks at 35 hours/week, summer. Placement with a New York public sector employer (DA's office, public defender, legal services provider, or Unified Court System) for unpaid summer public service work. Field: Public service law internship stipend - New York. Deadline: check nysba.org (historically mid-April).
