Funding: $5,000 per fellowship (three separate named awards offered each cycle). Who can apply: Advanced-standing PhD candidates from any discipline, at any university, conducting dissertation research that draws on testimony/archival resources related to genocide studies; requires one month in residence at USC in Los Angeles. Length: One month in-residence at USC, plus dissertation research/writing period. Access to the USC Shoah Foundation Visual History Archive and other Center resources during the required residency month. Field: Genocide and Human Rights Studies (open to any home discipline).
