Funding: At least $16,000 total, a minimum $8,000 salary from the sponsoring venture capital firm plus up to an $8,000 matching stipend from the Batten Institute and the Richard A. Mayo Center for Asset Management. Who can apply: First-year Darden full-time MBA students in good standing, selected through a competitive application and interview process. Length: Ten weeks, summer. Ten-week summer placement with a sponsoring venture capital firm or portfolio company, direct exposure to venture investing, and mentorship. Field: Venture Capital.
