Funding: $300 stipend for a four week residency or $600 stipend for a seven week residency. Who can apply: Open to writers of poetry, fiction, playwriting, screenwriting, memoir, or short stories of any age or background living anywhere in the world. Selection is based on writing sample quality, no application fee. Length: Four to seven weeks. Free housing and utilities at the historic house where Kerouac wrote Dharma Bums, dedicated writing time, community reading and workshop events. Field: Open Field. Deadline: Annual, rolling cycle (May 1, 2026 for the current cycle).
