Singapore AI Safety Fellowship

Funding: SGD 5,000/month stipend. Who can apply: Emerging researchers with strong technical research ability, commitment to beneficial AI development, and cross-cultural competency; requires full-time, in-person participation in Singapore. Length: 3 months (prior cohort ran 21 September - 4 December 2026). Free accommodation in Singapore, round-trip travel covered, visa assistance, up to USD 30,000 in compute resources per project, mentorship from experienced AI safety/governance researchers. Field: AI safety research fellowship with a dedicated policy pillar ("Applying research to policy": translating technical findings into policy recommendations). Deadline: Spring/Summer 2027 cohort (exact date not yet posted); prior cohort deadline was July 10, 2026.
