Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Health Policy Fellows Program (RWJF)

Funding: $175,000 total across the two-year fellowship, with up to $160,000 available during the initial 12-month residential period. Who can apply: Mid-career health professionals (typically 10+ years post-training) with an advanced degree (master's, JD, MD, PhD, or DO); primary job cannot be government relations/advocacy; must be US citizen or permanent resident. Length: 12 months minimum (Sept 1 - Aug 31), extendable through Dec 31. Up to $20,000 relocation and housing support for those living 50+ miles from DC; nonpartisan seminars, media training, leadership development, orientation, lifetime alumni network.
