Tech & Public Policy (TPP) Visiting Fellows Program

Funding: $15,000 total for approximately 18 weeks of part-time work (5-10 hours/week). Who can apply: Policy practitioners (professionals, not current students) residing in the DC/Maryland/Virginia area; must focus on one of three tech policy tracks (social media/platforms, digital governance/agentic AI, or technology/AI regulation), demonstrate an interdisciplinary approach, and commit to ongoing TPP community participation. Length: One semester (~18 weeks). Two student discussion sessions (60 min each), four office-hour sessions (2-hr windows), two DC-area site visits, one public 90-minute event, and written/video publication opportunities within the McCourt community. Field: AI and Tech Policy. Deadline: June 15, 2026 (for Fall 2026 semester); recurring each semester.
