The Kenyon Review Fellowships

Funding: $42,000 yearly stipend plus health benefits. Who can apply: Writers who have recently completed an MFA or PhD; US citizens and permanent residents eligible, and non-US citizens eligible if authorized to work in the US (J-1 visa qualifying). Length: Two years (August–June x2). Teaching one course per term at Kenyon College; time and mentorship for own creative writing projects; healthcare benefits. Field: Creative writing (fiction, poetry, nonfiction). Deadline: Fall 2026 (exact date TBA; program runs on a biennial cycle, 2027-2029 cohort applications open fall 2026).
