Strategic Data Project (SDP) Fellowship: Higher Education Pathway

Funding: Placed fellows are hired at partner organizations with salaries in the $75,000–$95,000 range (full-time paid employment, not a stipend award). Who can apply: Master's degree or higher completed by the fellowship start date, plus at least 4 years of relevant full-time work experience (waived for PhD holders); must be legally authorized to work full-time for any US employer for the full fellowship term. Length: 2 years. Intensive in-person and virtual professional development, training, and mentorship in education data/policy leadership. Field: Higher-education data/policy leadership (using institutional data to inform higher-ed decision-making and policy). Deadline: Cohort 18 (Fall 2026–Summer 2028) applications closed March 16, 2026; next cohort (19) expected to open in fall 2026, verify current dates on site.
