Applied Implementation Science Fellowship (AISF) Program

Funding: $150,000/year stipend (covers salary support and program/research costs). Who can apply: Early- and mid-career researchers employed in a PERMANENT position within a health care delivery system (hospital/clinic/practice) that can protect their time for the fellowship; must be based and legally authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship); postdoctoral/time-limited roles are explicitly NOT eligible. Length: 2 years. Mentorship (biweekly one-on-one coaching), monthly learning community sessions, participation in AcademyHealth events, individual AcademyHealth membership. Field: Implementation science in health care delivery. Deadline: 2026-2028 cohort application closed Feb 13, 2026; program is biennial, next cycle expected around 2028.
