Teach Plus Illinois Policy Fellowship

Funding: $2,000 stipend. Who can apply: Current Illinois PK-12 teachers; no prior policy experience required. Length: 12 months (June 2026-June 2027). Monthly sessions (mostly virtual, two in-person weekends), advocacy platform including legislative meetings and testimony. Field: K-12 teacher leadership and state education policy (Illinois).
