Rasmuson Foundation Sabbatical Program

Funding: Up to $50,000 per awardee. Who can apply: Full-time (35+ hrs/week) executive directors/CEOs or tribal administrators of Alaska 501(c)(3) nonprofits or tribal entities in place for at least 5 years in current leadership role and 7+ years overall nonprofit/tribal sector experience; Alaska residents only; prior sabbatical recipients ineligible. Working professional program, not a student fellowship. Length: 90 to 120 continuous days. Up to 10% of award may support interim staff coverage at the home organization. Field: Nonprofit Executive Leadership Sabbatical/Renewal. Deadline: Applications closed for current cycle; program reopens in 2027 (recurring annual/biennial program).
