Nonprofit Sabbatical Grant Program

Funding: Up to $100,000 total (up to $20,000 for personal sabbatical activities, $25,000–$55,000 in salary/benefits support during the leave, up to $10,000 for interim leadership coverage, up to $15,000 for staff capacity building). Who can apply: Executive directors, CEOs, or tribal administrators of Colorado-based 501(c)(3) public charities serving health and health equity, with at least 5 years in their current executive role and 7+ years of executive leadership experience in the nonprofit sector; must be Colorado residents committing to remain with the organization for 3 years post-sabbatical. Length: 3 to 4 months, to be taken within 18 months of receiving the award. Executive-in-residence placement at the Foundation and ongoing alumni network participation.
