Funding: $5,000 unrestricted funding for the leader's sabbatical expenses plus $3,000 for organizational/administrative support costs (larger three-month sabbaticals have awarded up to $60,000 per leader in past cohorts). Who can apply: Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) nonprofit executive directors/leaders who have worked full-time and in a paid role at their organization for at least 2 years, residing and working in Washington State; not a student program. Length: One month (also two-week and three-month options), sabbatical taken within 12 months of award. Simplified/low-barrier application process; organizational development/interim-coverage support during the leader's absence.
