Legal Fellowship (2027-2028 cycle)

Funding: $80,000 annual salary (contingent on receipt of external/outside fellowship funding), plus benefits. Who can apply: J.D. from an accredited law school required (conferred by September 2027) and active bar membership in a state or D.C.; open to attorneys fewer than three years post-graduation who plan to seek outside public-interest fellowship funding to sponsor the position; not for currently enrolled students. Length: One year full-time, with possible extension to a second year after six months of satisfactory performance. Field: Democracy/Government Accountability Law.
