2026 Civil Rights & Commercial Litigation Fellowship Program

Funding: $85,000-$105,000 salary scale (based on year of graduation) plus full benefits. Who can apply: Attorneys with 1-3 years of post-law-school practice experience (clerkships count), barred or bar-pending in D.C., practicing-attorney track, not a law-student program. Length: 1 year, starting on or around September 2026, with possible renewal. Possibility of renewal for a second year depending on firm docket and staffing needs. Field: Civil rights litigation (police misconduct, prisoners'/criminal defendants' rights) and complex commercial litigation. Deadline: March 20, 2026.
